IIC UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

IIC UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, CAMBODIA (IICUT), is accredited and recognized by the Royal Government of Cambodia as specified in Sub-Decree No. 127ANK.BK and by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the Kingdom of Cambodia. It is a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU) and is included in UNESCO’s Database WHED under Cambodia.

The university offers conventional and industrial PhD programs. Industrial PhD is a qualification to train professionals to solve industry-oriented problems. Conventional PhD focuses on 80% academic needs and 20% industrial needs whereas Industrial PhD is 20% academic needs and 80% industrial needs.

Al Quds Open University

Al Quds Open University is a public university accredited and recognized under the Palestinian Higher Education law No. 11 Act 1998, (License No. 1999/HEIB/08/09) that has its Headquarter address in Ramallah, Palestine. Al-Quds Open University is an administratively, academically and financially independent public University.

In 1975, UNESCO conducted a feasibility study in 1980 to initiate the project. The study was later approved by UNESCO General Conference and later by the Palestinian National Council in 1981. The number of enrolled students began with hundreds, and annually increased to reach 50,000 students by the end of the first semester of the Academic Year 2018/2019. The first graduates of the University received their certificates in 1997.

The University sought and is still seeking to spread open learning and E-learning in particular, not only in Palestine, but also in the entire Arab world to access larger number of beneficiaries, students, trainees, and those seeking knowledge and education. The University is keen on promoting freedom of thought, opinion, creativity, innovation and excellence.
