Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate or Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) from PDMFU for Bachelor’s degree. Any relevant, Bachelor’s degree is required for pursuing Master’s degree and Master’s degree is required for Doctoral degrees. However reasonable knowledge of English is essential to pursue most of the programs.
This Programme is offered by the University to those students who wish to do Bachelors Degree of PDMFU but do not have the essential qualification of having passed Schooling. In absence of such a qualifying certificate these student are deprived of higher education. To enable such students to enter higher education stream, PDMFU has designed this preparatory Programme. This is an enabling programme of the University but is not equivalent to High School certificate.
The courses are ideal for students, graduates, practicing managers, technicians, entrepreneurs, doctors and business men, MBAs, retired persons, house wives and for that matter, any reasonably matured person. Professionals like chartered Accountants, Cost and Works Accountants, Lawyers, Engineers will also benefit immensely.
The mode of education delivery adopted by the Institution is the ODL (Open and Distance Learning) System. The students are provided with appropriate standard study materials / standard books covering the areas of study, complimentary by Institution to help the students meet their course goals. The study materials are mailed to you on enrolment to a course. Texts for certain courses are assigned. Based on the syllabus, additionally you will utilize the resources of your own library and those of local public or nearby community or college libraries.
Once you receive the study materials, its Independent study, done on your own, not in a classroom, lecture or a study hall, without being away from work for educating yourself. The responsibility of your education is shared between you and the Institution. You start when you are ready, continue at your own speed and finish at your convenience, neither being pushed nor held back by other students nor by time frames. The self – study allows students to ensure that they have achieved the required level of knowledge.
The Institution believes that its students are mature and motivated to achieve their educational goals. And rigorous examination procedure beat the very purpose of the Institutions very existence and its basic philosophy, to allow the students to earn a qualification on a much more flexible basis than traditional Institutions. Qualifications are earned by demonstrating what you know, understood, and through the skills & the knowledge acquired, not how long you can warm a chair and then later on vomiting it out. Education is not just regurgitation of facts.
Students of our distance learning mode can take proctored (physical or online) examination from anywhere in the world.
Our distance education courses require students to take proctored exams. A proctored exam is taken off-campus and is supervised, just as it would be for a course taken on campus. Simply stated, a proctor supervises a student's exam. It is up to each student to find a qualified proctor. Typically, a student schedules the exam with a proctor, and the exam is sent to the proctor to administer. The proctor then returns the completed exam to the instructor to grade. Generally, proctors do not charge for this service. In all cases the campus distance education center or academic department offering the course must approve of the choice of proctor. The proctors have to be arranged by the students themselves.
The proctors can be university faculties / school teachers / embassy officials / senior professionals. The students are required get prior permission. Acceptable proctors for most courses include:
Online proctoring service is for students taking exams online. These proctors use a three-step process to replicate the face-to-face proctoring experience over the internet.
The proctor will need to know that the person is in fact the right student. The proctor will ask to show a photo ID. The proctor will then snap a photo of the student’s profile. Once that is completed, the proctor will ask the student to answer a few questions. These questions are generated from a public information database.
Through this process, proctors can see the student, see what they are doing, and know who they are monitoring. Then the university question paper is given to the student to answer. Once the exam is completed by the student, the essay type answer sheet is sent to the university.
Each student enrolled for the Master’s program is required to do a Masters level research leading to a thesis, in the area of study or experience of the candidate.
Each student enrolled for the Doctoral program is required to do a doctoral research leading to a dissertation, in the area of study or experience of the candidate. The dissertation at the doctoral level must reflect professional and academic excellence. Before the student is formally permitted to begin work on the thesis or dissertation, a research proposal following acceptable guidelines must be submitted to the Graduate review committee of PDMFU, for approval.
The candidates who are highly professionally motivated should demonstrate convincingly with their life experience and experimental learning details, that they possess the intellectual ability to understand and integrate information. The students are evaluated, as evidenced through the dissertation material submitted, and they need to meet the following objectives of the assessment criteria.
All the documents must be copied to the same e-media (CD, flashcard).
Admission to the defence of the dissertation is approved by the order of the Rector of the University with the notation of the time and place of the online meeting.
The time frame will depend upon the students. The time is up to you; quickly or slowly, you set the pace – after all, and it is your education. The time frame will also depend upon the effort, the student desires to put into the program.
Normally the student may meet all the requirements and complete the Bachelors degree thereupon in just 3 years,Masters degree in 2 years, and the Doctoral degree in 2 years, all depending upon the above mentioned criteria. However, if the students do not complete the programs in 5 years from the date of enrolment, they will be required to reregister by paying a fee and also pay a service charge every year till they complete the course.
The Degree Certificate is provided to the students upon meeting the Institutions Graduation requirements, the examination committees’ satisfaction with the overall performance of the student and their financial obligations, directly by PDMFU, USA.
The nature of the Institution allows for year round enrolment. The student’s course begins upon enrolment.
The Institution provides 100% placement assistance. From time to time, the Institution is asked to recommend students for placement. Should this occur, the information would be provided to the appropriate students.
The Institutions reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations wherever considered necessary and appropriate. Such amendments will be intimated to the candidates. Therefore, this publication and the descriptions contained herein are not to be construed as a contract binding the Institutions to any specific policies. Possible changes include, but are not limited to, passing requirements, eligibility criteria for examinations, fee structure, refund policy, curriculum and course content, examination pattern, certification and designation, and such other matters as may be considered relevant.
Informal grievance procedures.
Grievers are encouraged by PDMFU to resolve grievances informally. Formal grievance procedures shall not be initiated unless informal efforts to resolve the grievance have been exhausted and griever has provided a written description of such efforts to PDMFU.
If a grievance has not been satisfactorily resolved by informal procedures, the griever may file a written grievance with the PDMFU Board, within five working days of receiving the answer at the earlier step. The Board shall make its decision within 30 days of the hearing and shall inform its decision to all concerned parties. The Board’s decision shall be final.

An honorary degree is entirely legitimate and the title conferred may be used like any other. The degree is awarded to those who have demonstrated a HonorisCausa, or cause to be honored. This program is offered only to a select group of accomplished individuals such as yourself. As a professional, a degree or additional degree will allow you to make a greater impact. The expedient way of showing the world your knowledge, abilities, experience and talents is with your degree and use of your titles. The degree is not recognized by employers as having the same stature as a corresponding earned degree and should not be represented as such. It is sometimes recommended that such degrees be listed in one's CV as an award and not in their education section.
PDMFU believes that weightage should be given for learning that occurs outside the classroom by building upon previous accomplishments. Degrees are granted based on evaluation of past accomplishment and competencies, and will be done on an individual basis by qualified experts. Recipients of honorary degrees do not earn the degree through academic achievements, rather with generous and altruistic actions or lifetime accomplishments that benefit a community, nation or humanity in general.
We allow candidates to apply for consideration for the degree. Send along a Resume or brief autobiographical sketch. Tell us about yourself, your education, your abilities, talents, accomplishments, etc. You may choose to send copies of that which you have written or that which was written about you. (Any documents, photos, videos, tapes, papers, objects, etc., that are sent cannot be returned. Don't send originals.)
You can also recommend others for a degree (nomination by a third party). Send along a Resume or brief autobiographical sketch ofthe person whom you nominate.
The owner of an honorary doctorate is given the legal right to use “Doctor” before his or her name or the other honorary titles, it carries the same title “Doctor” that’s used for a regular degree. Similarly one can Suffix to their name the nomenclature, BA, MA, BS, MS, MBA, MD, etc., to their names, legally.Your honorary degree will stem from a legitimate, renowned and thriving university.
Note: From time to time, we grant honorary degrees in disciplines that are not included in this list. If you have experience in a field that is not on this list, but that falls within the scope of PDMFU degrees, please contact us and we will consider it.
The candidates may acquire the integrated bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees directly after schooling or bachelors and masters or the masters and doctoral degrees after bachelor’s degree. They can get the relevant degrees together.
The Honorary Degrees are conferred with all rights, honours and privileges appertaining thereto, directly by PDMFU, USA, to the student upon meeting the Institutions Graduation requirements and their financial obligations.
1. Application: The application form should be filled. A comprehensive application is comprised of all vocational, professional and academic education and detailed background. It is the philosophy of the institution that the evaluation of an applicant’s lifelong learning experience is the basis of the program. Thus, it is important to include anything that may be of value in this crucial evaluation, including military services, extensive travel, etc.
2. Transcripts: Copies of transcripts / certificates from previous attended institutions, colleges or universities may be provided for evaluation purposes.
3. Documentation Copies: In – service Training / Workshop / Seminars for evaluation purposes, it is important that the applicant list any and all workshop, training and seminars that have been attended in the courses of employment, services, or study in the field for which admission is sought. Documentation may take the form of a copy of certificate or a letter from a sponsoring employer, certifying attendance and a brief description of the training received.
ADMISSION AS AN AFFILIATE STUDENT - Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral Degrees
PDMF University admits to its non-credit bearing, non-traditional degree programs globally a number of students, graduates, diploma holders, business men, etc., who further do not wish to proceed to either a traditional college or traditional university qualification or Government and other jobs that require traditional degrees, but wish to only graduate to enhance their knowledge, upgrade their entrepreneurial skills, have new careers, increase their chances of employability, advance in job with promotions, improve their self, which could lead them to more money, more security, and a better way of life.
All students who pursue these non-credit bearing degree programs are known as affiliate students and study in this way. Please note that no transferable credits are provided. Students at the Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral level can be admitted as an affiliate student.
All of PDMFU degrees are legal and legitimate. However, please note that degrees in certain disciplines require special registrations with Government certified bodies for practise in those disciplines. However, if that is your goal, then please check before enrolling whether the non-credit bearing, non-traditional first degrees from PDMFU, may help you to do so or not. If you have first degrees, by virtue of which you have done your registrations, then, you may acquire your second non-credit bearing, non-traditional degrees from PDMFU.
PDMFU believes that the student is a mature, conscientious and responsible individual who is sincere in his desire for education PDMFU recognizes this by granting admission to them without any formal eligibility criteria.
The only entry requirements are an open mind and commonsense. Work experience is desired, but not essential. The courses are designed for students, practicing managers, entrepreneurs, and for that matter, any reasonably matured person. Reasonable knowledge of English is essential to pursue the programs.
Candidates please note that, acceptance in the science, engineering and technology programs is contingent upon possession of prior work experience as a practical technician / engineer or professionally oriented or at the least, a high school diploma. Medical programs are only for qualified, Government certified doctors.
Students are admitted to Doctoral programs, if the candidate is professionally successful and demonstrates an intellectual ability to understand and integrate information successfully, or demonstrates the ability to do professional level research, evidenced beyond doubt, through the application material submitted.

Every student of the bachelors program will be required to submit a project report / bachelors level thesis prepared on the basis of investigations carried out, on possible solution for a typical problem of current interest in the area of concentration.The final works submitted by the candidates are evaluated and suitable grades are awarded to them.
The students of the Master’s program will submit a Master’sThesis. The focal theme of which must be, how the student has actually implemented what he has learned successfully. The report should demonstrate the capability of the student for some creative potential and original approach to solve the practical problems in today’s world. The report should include fields surveys, interpretation, planning and design, presented in a comprehensive manner with recommendations for solutions based on scientifically worked out data.
Each student enrolled for the Doctoral program is required to do a doctoral research leading to a dissertation, in the area of study or experience of the candidate. The dissertation at the doctoral level must reflect professional and academic excellence. Before the student is formally permitted to begin work on the thesis or dissertation, a research proposal following acceptable guidelines must be submitted to the Graduate review committee of PDMFU, for approval.
The students will have to seek the help of a qualified Project guide in order to complete the thesis successfully. A certification from areputed and relevant individual stating that the project / thesis / dissertation were originally produced by the candidates should be enclosed, while sending the completed material to PDMFU.
The candidates are requested to obtain the certification from, the current or former employer / professor or Head of the department in the university or college in which the candidate is studying or has studied / professionals in the relevant field of the candidates study / civil servants / other individuals of repute.
The candidates may pursue the integrated bachelors, masters and doctoral degree programs directly after schooling or the bachelors and masters or the masters and doctoral degree programs after bachelor’s degree. They can get the relevant degrees together by pursuing only the thesis requirement of the highest degree applied for.
Admissions are not automatic and are subject to selection and approval of the PDMFU selection board. Merely being eligible, by meeting the stipulated eligibility criteria for admission in to a particular course, does not guarantee an admission in to the program.
Admissions to individual programs are done on the basis of the evaluation of the application material submitted by the candidate. If determined by the Dean, that the student’s current level of competency in pursuing the particular higher level of program, the candidate has applied to enrol for, is insufficient to pursue the program, the candidate may be denied admission in that program. However, he / she will be offered admission in to a lower level program of the same discipline, and advised accordingly.
For an example, a candidate, though eligible to apply directly for a master’s program, may be denied admission, if found to possess insufficient competency to pursue the program, as evidenced by evaluation of the application material, will be advised accordingly and offered admission in to the bachelor’s degree, in the same discipline. On successful completion of the same, the student may further proceed to the master’s program.
The purpose of our existence as an university is to allow the student to earn a degree on a much more flexible basis than traditional colleges and universities. The focus of the educational programs is to impart relevant knowledge and skills to all the candidates.

The time involved in achieving the student’s education goal will vary from individual to individual. The time frame will depend upon the students. The time is up to you; quickly or slowly, you set the pace – after all, and it is your education.
The time frame will depend upon the specific requirements regarding the program and effort the student desires to put into the program. For example, the student may meet all the degree requirements and receive the degrees thereupon in just three months or may study for a year, all depending upon the above mentioned criteria.
The quality of work done by student is recorded in the form of the letter mark or grade.
The grade indicates the degree of proficiency the student has achieved in the courses as determined by evaluation of the project / thesis / dissertation. Grades will be issued to the students and each student is graded according to individual achievement.
